Auto Check Opt in for Transactional Text Messages

instead of requiring the customer to check to opt in to receive text messages for delivery, have it prechecked and allow customers to uncheck. We have received approval from legal that this is allowed. This is only for transactional post purchase communications for order and delivery communications.

Opportunity / Problem

Improve customer opt in rate for transactional communications. Customers engage with text messages at a higher rate than emails. If they are aware of their delivery date/timeframe less likelihood of the customer missing their delivery requiring us to return for delivery or service visit reducing cost.
